Welcome. I'm Patricia Moise, LCSW, founder and therapist at TIC Wellness Center. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to explore difficult experiences, and empowered enough to make meaningful changes in your life.

My approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I recognize that the experiences we carry can affect how we see ourselves, how we connect with others, and how we respond to the world around us.

While trauma and abuse are important areas of my work, you do not have to have experienced trauma to work with me. I also support clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, stress, life transitions, emotional challenges, and personal growth.

My Approach to Therapy

“You are the expert on your life.”

My role isn't to tell you who you should be or how you should feel. My role is to walk alongside you, help you understand patterns that may be affecting your well-being, introduce tools that support meaningful change, and create a space where you can explore your experiences without judgment.

Depending on your individual needs, our work may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, mindfulness, strengths-based interventions, and trauma-informed approaches.

Most importantly, therapy is individualized. We work collaboratively to determine what feels helpful and appropriate for you.

What You Can Expect From Me

Compassion without judgment

A collaborative therapeutic relationship

Respect for your culture and lived experiences

A trauma-informed approach

Clear and honest communication

Respect for your boundaries and choices

Practical tools you can use outside of therapy

A space to process difficult emotions at your own pace

Support in recognizing your strengths

Care that sees you as a whole person—not simply a diagnosis

You Don't Have to Have It All Figured Out

You may know exactly what you want to work on. You may simply know that something doesn't feel right. Both are okay. Whether you're experiencing anxiety that makes it difficult to quiet your thoughts, depression that has made it harder to feel like yourself, the effects of trauma or abuse, relationship difficulties, or a major transition in your life, we can begin with where you are today.

You don't have to tell your entire story during the first session. You don't have to have the perfect words. You can simply start where you are.

Let's See If We're a Good Fit

Finding the right therapist matters. A consultation gives you an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about my approach, discuss what you're looking for, and determine whether working together feels like the right next step.
